The clear objective of the Academy is to work for improving the quality of higher education and the doctoral research. For this we will focus on the human values and the ethics of the scholars towards their profession. GAD actively promotes best practices in doctoral education and research through advocacy, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. By facilitating international partnerships, disseminating research findings, and supporting capacity-building initiatives, GAD plays a pivotal role in elevating the quality and impact of doctoral research across the globe.

GAD is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse community that reflects the global landscape of doctoral research. We actively promote equity, diversity, and inclusion through outreach initiatives, partnership collaborations, and targeted support programs.

GAD serves as a bridge between academia and industry, providing opportunities for doctoral researchers to engage with industry partners through collaborative projects, research partnerships, internships, and knowledge exchange initiatives.

The World Doctorates Day is observed on August 25th every year since 2012. This day was chosen in an eventful way. The day and time in 2012 the idea of choosing a day to be the World Doctorates Day came in my mind 237th member joined the Global Network of Doctorates on the LinkedIn. It was a leap year and 237th day in 2012 was August 25th.
